FBI Raids Company With Close Ties To GOP House Leadership
The scandal enveloping GOP House leadership continues to grow.
On Tuesday, the FBI raided the offices of a California Defense contractor with close ties to Rep. Duke Cunningham, Majority Leader Tom DeLay, and Majority Whip Roy Blunt.
The FBI and IRS served a search warrant to ADCS, a company that converts paper records into computer records, according to a LOCAL 8 report.
More:
ADCS' owner also owns a private air company that has provided personal air travel for both Cunningham and Congressman Tom DeLay, according to the newspaper.
The company has also provided air travel to Majority Whip Roy Blunt.
And the news for GOP leadership just keeps getting worse. Longtime Blunt and DeLay associate Jack Abramoff is set to be questioned in the 2001 gangland-style murder of an Abramoff business associate.
DeLay once described Abramoff as "one of my closest and dearest friends." Blunt also has extensive ties to Abramoff.
