GOP In Disarray From Coast To Coast

The national Republican party is in a state of panic from coast to coast, unlike anything we've seen in the ten years since they took over the Congress.

The leadership in both chambers of Congress is deeply embroiled in ethics problems of their own making.  Frist for insider trading, and DeLay and Blunt for running an all-around financial shakedown operation, not to mention the numerous Republicans, including DeLay and Blunt, with ties to lobbyist Jack Abramoff.

That scandal has now reached out and grabbed one of our nation's Governors, Bob Ehrlich of Maryland.

Rep. Duke Cunningham has so many legal problems that he is keeping an entire division of the Department of Justice busy.

The President can't seem to regain his pre-Katrina footing, and now the Washington State GOP has repealed Reagan's 11th commandment so that the combatants candidates in the Republican party primary for U.S. Senate are free to bash one another on their way to the chance to challenge Senator Maria Cantwell.

It's going to be an interesting fall.
